When it comes to dating and relationships in Singapore, there’s a clear trend towards commitment and stability. Our survey reveals that 76.3% of HappyDotters looking to date are looking for a serious, long-term relationship. On the other hand, casual dating is relatively low at 21.5% among them.

Benefits of Romantic Relationships

78.1% of HappyDotters highlighted positive emotions as a key benefit of being in a relationship, 75.5% valued companionship, and 75.3% appreciated the emotional support. These factors contribute to overall relationship satisfaction and personal well-being, highlighting the multifaceted nature of romantic partnerships.

Navigating Arguments: The Common Conflict in Relationships

While relationships bring joy and support, they also come with their share of challenges. Arguments emerge as the top downside of being in a romantic relationship, with 69.2% of HappyDotters identifying this as a significant issue. With that, 57.4% also noted increased negative emotions such as stress and worry and 47.6% cited a loss of freedom.
