Climate Change Impact: How Singaporeans Perceive Global Warming Consequences

Climate change is undeniably a hot topic globally. Yet, how much do we understand about this issue? Let’s delve into HappyDotters’ view on climate change, and the extent of their worry about this global concern.

Climate Change Awareness in Singapore

A majority of HappyDotters, around 65.6%, have read or heard a bit about climate change, while 29.4% have delved into the topic in detail. A small minority, 5%, have not heard about it at all. This indicates a high level of climate change awareness in Singapore.

Concern About Climate Change

The majority of HappyDotters express concern about climate change. A sizeable 43.7% are moderately worried, 25.7% are very worried, and 11.0% are extremely worried. Only a minimal 3.4% are not worried at all. These figures reflect the reality of climate change concerns in Singapore.

Moral Obligation and Environmental Stewardship

The survey also revealed a strong sense of responsibility among HappyDotters to take action against climate change. An overwhelming 51.5% agreed and 12.9% strongly agreed that they feel morally obliged to fight climate change.
